Welcome to the Health Sciences Library at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSHRC) in Riyadh-Saudi Arabia. The Health Library at (KFSHRC) is a clinical and research center that strives to support KFSHRC staff in their commitment to providing excellence in patient care, education, and the advancement of research. The Library's mission is to provide an enhanced learning environment and information services for the improvement of patient care throughout Saudi Arabia and the region.
The King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSHRC) Health sciences Library is your partner in the practice, research, and education. The KFSHRC Library is open to those affiliated with King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center — students, residents, fellows, health care professionals, faculty, and employees. The Library customers have in-library and remote access to the libraries' many collections, including both digital and traditional library resources.

Launch of the new Digital Library Portal and Mobile App
Health Sciences Library Section is glad to announce the launch of our new Digital Library Portal and Mobile App under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Majid bin Ibrahim Alfayyadh, Chief Executive Officer. Our new Portal and App have been designed to provide seamless access to a vast array of medical resources, research articles, training materials, and more. Whether you are in the hospital or on the go, these tools will enhance your ability to stay informed and up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare.
As part of its continuous efforts to equip the clinicians with the lates Evidence Base Practice resources, and in Collaboration with Ovid | Lippincott, The Academic and Training Affairs (the Health Science Library) arranged a hands-on training on the two platforms Lippincott Procedures and Lippincott Advisor to the Physical Therapy Department.

تحت رعاية الإدارة التنفيذية للشؤون الأكاديمية والتدريب بمستشفى الملك فيصل التخصصي ومركز الأبحاث ، نظمت المكتبة الطبية تدريبًا عمليًا لمدة يوم كامل على UpToDate & Lexicomp وعقد جلسات مخصصة تستهدف جميع المتخصصين في الرعاية الصحية وتثقيفهم حول أفضل الممارسات لاستخدام حلول دعم القرارات السريرية (UpToDate - أداة دعم القرار السريري و Lexicomp - الحل المرجعي للأدوية) وكيف تساعد كلا الأداتين المارسين الصحيين في ممارستهم السريرية اليومية من تحسين الرعاية المقدمة وتحسين النتائج.
Under the auspices of the Executive Department of Academic Affairs and Training at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, The Medical Library organized a full-day UpToDate & Lexicomp hands-on training and customized orientation sessions targeting all Healthcare professionals and educating them on the best practices of utilizing the clinical decisions support solutions (UpToDate - The clinical decision support tool & Lexicomp - The drug reference solution) and how both solutions help the clinical staff in their daily clinical practice by enhancing patient care, increasing their clinical knowledge, and improve the outcomes.
